Submissions / Category Breakdown / Conditions

  1. Entry is open to practitioners who live or work within any "SE" postcode. One entry only per selection round is permitted.
  2. Entrants to visual arts & design categories must supply 5 digital images in JPEG format representative of their work, to be submitted through the website. Images should be no larger than 400kb in size.
  3. Entrants to media categories may supply a video clip of no more than 5 minutes or a url for online viewing of the work. Clips must be supplied in mpeg or quicktime format on a DVD or CD, and sent to:

    Film and video category is restricted to moving image works under 5 minutes

  4. Performing Arts categories are selected by peer review and no material needs to be submitted. Should you wish to alert the review panel to your work please submit summary including venue and dates of performance to the website. Images and reviews may also be supplied.
  5. Entrants to the Retail and Hospitality category should supply a photo of their premises and a 50 word description.
  6. All Entrants must supply a 50 word summary of their work. This copy will be used on the website and may be subject to editorial change. Copy must be submitted digitally as a word file.
  7. There is no cost to submit your material. Materials supplied for submission will not be returned.
  8. The decisions of the selection panel are final and no correspondence will be entered into. Winning entries are featured on the P&B showcase website. There are no cash or other prizes.
  9. If selected for a showcase review the entrant will provide further information as requested to enable the writing of review copy.
  10. By submitting material the entrant agrees that their images and copy supplied may be used on the Cultural Showcase website and for all related PR and marketing purposes.
  11. Entrants acknowledge that any work submitted is their own and does not infringe on the copyright or ownership of any other person, and in no way defames any other person or body.
